Shakespeare (kind of) Takes on Conflict Minerals Due Diligence and CMR Audits

Our latest presentation is available on the topic of Conflict Minerals Reports (CMRs) and the independent private sector audit (IPSA) of the CMR.

But like most of you, we have grown oh-so-weary of dry powerpoint presentations, even those spiced up with a touch of clip art or animation.

So we are doing things rather differently.

First, as in the past, we use prezi for our presentation technology.  If you are not familiar with prezi, you can view and navigate in full screen mode by clicking on the full screen icon that appears in the lower right hand corner of the initial player window.   Use the space bar to move the slides forward.  Also, placing the cursor into the viewing area will bring up navigation arrows at the bottom of the screen which allows forward and backward navigation.  There is no narration or other audio.

Second, The Bard provided us inspiration.  Borrowing a few of his best lines, we performed literary contortions to make them fit our misguided context.

In all seriousness,  the presentation offers new perspectives and updates on due diligence measures, what the CMR audit actually encompasses, and what issuers can do to shape the audit and reduce the cost.

Though this be madness, yet there is method in ‘t.  Our theatrical-themed presentation begins here.
